The EGE family of inductive standard sensors made in Germany covers inductive proximity switches in robust industrial design, sensors with adapted EMC stability for heightened requirements and sensors for high switching distances up to 160 mm and hysteresis for the detection of larger moving metal parts, such as pipes, profiles or plates. In addition, EGE offers standard thread designs and sensors with smooth sleeves. The proximity switches are based on the proven inductive principle and switch contactless when a metallic object moves close. Proximity switches are used for presence verification, position and movement monitoring and the counting of objects as well as speed control on conveyor belts.
