Specially sealed sensors - climatic proofed for use in a temperature range up to 120°C

Designed for extreme ambient conditions, the sensors of this EGE product family have been proven for more than 40 years in the most varied areas. The proximity switches are based on the conventional inductive principle and switch when a metallic object moves close. These inductive sensors cope without problems with constantly changing temperatures, flooding, vibration, cleaning processes using high pressure cleaners and temperature up to 120°C. These properties are, for example, in demand when used in the steel industry. Because our sensors in many applications are flushed with rolling emulsion during operation, the chemical resistance of the materials used and a high IP class are also essential. They are also ideal for outdoor applications.
