Gettorf – EGE's robust IDST and INST lines of proximity qualify
for use in applications with high temperatures and rugged environments, such as
steel plants. The sensors are suitable for a temperature range from -25 to
+120 °C. They are EMI-resistant beyond the requirements of relevant norms, and
withstand even interference spectra generated by frequency
inverters.
Manufactured from PBT and PBO, the proximity switches can be
operated with a 10...55 V DC or 20...250 V AC voltage. They provide switching
distances between 50 and 140 mm. The units are connected via a silicone
cable.
