Gettorf – Sensor expert EGE provides users with a level
controller for a wide range of liquids. The MFM microwave sensor continuously
monitors e.g. water, oil or emulsions. It ensures precise detection of fill
levels in plastic or metal containers with a measurement error of 3 mm. The
sensor uses microwaves that are conducted through the stainless steel dip stick.
The medium reflects the microwaves upon contact, and the sensor determines the
fill level. The units do not need to be adjusted to different media.
MFM
measuring probes are made of aluminum and stainless steel AISI 316 Ti. They are
suited for ambient temperatures between -20 and +70 °C and pressures up to 6
bar. Users can choose any length up to 2,000 mm. EGE also provides 500 and
1,100 mm standard length models. The IP 67 sensors are mounted by a G3/4 thread.
They are connected via an M12 plug connector.
