Gettorf – Sensor expert EGE introduces the new MFM series of
level controllers which ensures continuous monitoring of liquids. It allows
users to precisely detect fill levels in plastic or metal containers with a
maximal measurement error of 10 mm. The level controllers monitor a wide range
of liquids, such as water, oil or emulsions. For that purpose, microwaves are
conducted within the dip stick. The microwaves are reflected upon contact with
the medium, and the sensor determines the fill level. The units do not need to
be adjusted to different media.
Manufactured from aluminum and stainless
steel 1.4571, the MFM measuring probes are suited for ambient temperatures
between -20 and +70 °C. The sensor length can be chosen between 500 and 2000 mm.
Featuring a G3/4 thread, the devices are connected via a M12 plug
connection.
