Cold-resistant down to -100 °C: Inductive proximity switches for low-temperature applications

Gettorf – INT proximity switches from EGE are designed for food industry applications such as spiral freezers, which are based on liquid nitrogen as a cooling agent. Suitable for continuous operation at ambient temperatures down to -100 °C, the sensors also withstand heat up to +70 °C. The robust units are manufactured from PTFE. They are water-proof according to IP 68 and IP 69K and provide a nominal switching distance of 20 mm. The amplifier units IK 130 and IKM 120 serve to analyze data collected by INT sensors, which are connected via a screened FEP cable. The sensors are installed by means of a terminal block which is included in delivery
