Gettorf – Sensor expert EGE now also supplies two-wire versions of the proven IGMH inductive proximity switches. Operated with a 24 V DC supply voltage, the new sensors are available as M18 and M30 versions. Just like their predecessor models, they are suitable for continuous operation at ambient temperatures between -25 and +160 °C. The new IGMH sensors provide switching distances between 5 and 15 mm. Manufactured from stainless steel and PEEK, the robust units are waterproof according to IP 68 and can be cleaned with high-pressure water jets according to IP 69K. They remain watertight even where the FEP fixed cable is connected. Thanks to their integrated electronics, the sensors do not require a separate amplifier unit. They are especially suited for use in drying kilns or heavy industry applications with extreme environments.
