Level monitoring with microwave sensors

Gettorf – EGE-Elektronik Spezial-Sensoren GmbH has extended its range of microwave level controllers featuring a sensor tip which reacts to contact with a medium, adding the new MFK series. Manufactured from stainless steel and PTFE, the level controllers have a G1/2 process connection and measure 40 mm. Thanks to their integrated electronics, they do not require a separate amplifier unit. MFK sensors, which feature a PNP NO switching output, do not need to be adjusted to different media – after installation, they detect the presence of liquids. An integrated LED displays the switching status at the device. The sensors are designed for a -20...+85 °C temperature range and provide IP 67 protection. Operated with a 24 V DC voltage, they are connected via a M12 plug connection.
