EGE introduce speed sensor for rugged environments

Gettorf – Sensor specialists EGE present the new robust HGVH 03 GSP sensor for speed monitoring of gear wheels and gear racks.

Gettorf – Sensor specialists EGE present the new robust HGVH 03 GSP sensor for speed monitoring of gear wheels and gear racks. Highly resistant against mechanical impact and vibrations, these products in a one-piece solid stainless steel housing tolerate extreme environmental temperature from –40 °C to +150 °C and achieve IP 68 or IP 69K ingress protection. Moreover, they are maintenance-free and untroubled by dust or oil-based contaminants. Featuring a switching frequency of 6000 Hz, these inductive sensors are an ideal choice for speed measurement or position monitoring on toothed racks in extremely demanding environments. The sensors are supplied in an M18 design and feature a fixed cable.
