Heat-resistant and waterproof: Inductive sensors from EGE

Gettorf - The sensor expert EGE provides the IGMH series of inductive proximity switches which permanently withstands ambient temperatures up to 160 °C.

Gettorf – The sensor expert EGE provides the IGMH series of inductive proximity switches which permanently withstands ambient temperatures up to 160 °C. Manufactured from stainless steel and PEEK, the robust units are waterproof according to IP 68 and can be cleaned with high-pressure water jets according to IP 69K. They remain watertight even where the FEP fixed cable is connected. Thanks to their integrated electronics, the sensors do not require a separate amplifier unit. They are especially suited for use in drying kilns or heavy industry applications with extreme environments. IGMH sensors are available as M18 and M30 models with switching distances between 5 and 15 mm.
