Resistant to rolling oil: Inductive sensors from EGE

Gettorf - EGE's proven IGFW series of inductive proximity switches is suitable for extreme environments and has a longer lifetime than conventional devices.

Gettorf – EGE's proven IGFW series of inductive proximity switches is suitable for extreme environments and has a longer lifetime than conventional devices. The IP 68 / IP 69K sensors withstand even chemically aggressive substances such as rolling oil emulsions and cooling lubricants, which makes them fit for use in rolling mills or machining centers. Moreover, their robust PTFE housing protects them from vibrations. Designed for a temperature range between -25 and +125 °C, they feature a short-circuit proof PNP switching output and are available with switching distances up to 20 mm. The sensors are connected via a robust FEP cable.
