Gettorf – EGE introduces the new inline sensor series LDN for controlling, monitoring and logging air flows, e.g. in compressed air lines or blow-clear systems. The IP 67 sensors operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +80 °C and are suitable for media pressures up to 20 bar. Within their measuring range of 0.5...40 m/s, they react to flow changes very quickly. In addition to air, the sensors can also be used to monitor other non-explosive gases. Based on the thermodynamic principle, they operate without any wear. A G1/4 thread allows for installation in pipes. The sensors are available with a PNP switch output, a floating relay output or a 4...20 mA nonlinear current output.
