Reliable detection of transparent objects: Ultrasonic barriers from EGE for demanding environments

Gettorf – EGE's ARK series of robust ultrasonic barriers, which consist of a sender and a receiver unit measuring 30x20x12 mm, ensure that objects are reliably detected in rugged environments.

Gettorf – EGE's ARK series of robust ultrasonic barriers, which consist of a sender and a receiver unit measuring 30x20x12 mm, ensure that objects are reliably detected in rugged environments. ARK sensors provide high switching frequencies of up to 150 Hz and have a maximum range of 300 mm. They are suitable for the detection of transparent objects, or objects that are hard to detect optically, thereby facilitating the counting and checking for the presence of bottles. Their benefits become most apparent in optically unfavorable applications, where strong reflections or dust, steam and smoke impair visibility. Manufactured from PBTB, ARK sensors are designed for a –15...+60 °C temperature range. Thanks to IP 67 protection, they are suitable for rugged industrial environments.
