Gettorf –
Inductive proximity switches from EGE’s IDT series are designed for a wide
temperature range: they withstand ambient temperatures between –25 and +120 °C.
The sensors are IP 67-protected and suitable for use e.g. in rugged industrial
environments. They are available in three versions with 80, 105 and 160 mm
diameters and maximum switching distances of 50, 80 and 110 mm. Especially
resistant to electromagnetic interferences, the devices ensure optimal
reliability. They are operated with 10...55 V DC or 20...250 V AC. Additionally,
EGE develops and implements individual, application-specific sensor solutions
for customers at short notice.
Moreover, EGE provides the IDH 080 sensor series
for maximum ambient temperatures of +250 °C. These sensors feature a
high-temperature plug connec-tion that allows users to quickly and easily
install a replacement sensor head in case of damage without having to replace
the sensor cable. Their electronics are housed separately in a pluggable cable
amplifier. The units are connected via a metal armored cable.
