Gettorf –
Many common applications require flow control and flow rate measurement in
poorly accessible places where programming and maintaining the devices is
difficult. EGE provides a solution for such environments: flow control systems
consisting of a sensor and a separate amplifier. The devices from the newly
developed SKM 521 GR amplifier line can be installed with inline flow meters
and sensors for insertion into T-fittings. Sensor and amplifier can be
installed up to 100 m apart.
The
electronics unit is designed for DIN rail installation in a control cabinet. Alternatively,
it can be mounted on a mounting plate. It features a potential-free relay
output that can be equipped with a programmable time on/off delay which allows
users to bridge short-term flow drops and avoid irrelevant warning signals. The
devices allow for the easy setting of switching points via a six digit LED
display and a multi-turn potentiometer. They are operated with a 24 V DC supply
voltage. Thanks to their extremely slim design with a 17.5 mm width, they allow
for the space-saving installation of multi-channel monitoring systems.
