Gettorf –
The sensor expert EGE offers a wide range of inductive proximity switches for
demanding industrial environments which cause malfunctions in standard sensors.
Interference fields, which can be caused by sensor and motor power supply lines
wired in parallel via frequency inverters, by digital mobile radio networks,
wireless high-frequency signal transmission or power line communication, do not
cause any problems for these sensors. Sensors from the blue series fulfill EMC
requirements above and beyond those of the relevant standards (e.g. EN
61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2). In addition to standards compliance tests, the
sensors also pass a wide range of tests especially developed by EGE which
simulate common electromagnetic interferences in industrial environments. They
are therefore especially suited for installation in the close proximity of
strong electromagnetic interference sources, such as frequency inverters and
motors.
EGE
provides various sensor models for use in a temperature range between –25 and
+120 °C, featuring switching distances between 2 and 170 mm. Users can choose
between M12, M18 and M30 standard models and cylindrical sensors. The units are
connected via a fixed cable or an M12 plug connection.
