Sensors of the Series IGEXH are intrinsically safe inductive sensors for high-temperature applications in zone 0 hazardous gas atmospheres and zone 20 dust atmospheres. Designed to withstand extreme ambient temperatures from – 25 °C to +140 °C, IGEXH sensors operate reliably even with frequent temperature changes. The rugged proximity switches made of 1.4571 stainless steel and PEEK provide IP 68 ingress protection. The companion signal processing unit, the IKM 122 Ex amplifier, is installed outside the hazardous area. The series features M12, M18 and M30 type sensors. The sensors are connected via a 2 meter FEP cable.
